Fashion in virtual reality
A 360-degree voyage in the colorful and dynamic world of Itu
Virtual reality is a medium for creation that makes it possible to explore artistic fields with multiple identities such as fashion, design, jewelry, etc.
Screenwriting is done very carefully because it is all about staying true to the spirit of the creator or the brand while innovating and breaking away from the usual tenets of classic video production.
The film’s inspiration is drawn from the world of Itu – a surprising artist, high-level athlete, best-selling author, and, now, a designer in the Marais district as well. Since moving to Paris in 2014, he has lit up Turenne Street with his multi-faceted creativity.
The spectator, transported into this enchanted moment, can come to understand the quintessence of Itu’s personality by observing his creative process.
The immersion in his joyful and expansive reality with expertly placed touches of color is presented in the form of a voyage of initiation. The spectator is guided by a magical hat into a kaleidoscope of Itu’s different personas and of his work.
This Japanese-Parisian fantasy in 360-video inspired by the designer’s atypical career mixes images of the French capital with rhythmic apparitions of his creations that draw the spectator into the artist’s swirling subconscious, like a comical modern fable in virtual reality.
